42 marshall 1960a wiring diagram

I had issues a few years ago with some individual speakers cutting out on my Marshall 1960A 4X12 cab. I opened it up to check the connections and they were all good. I ended up cleaning the Stereo/Impedance selector switch and jacks on the cab and it fixed the issue. I only use the cab during rehearsals and there has been very few of these lately. To me it looks like an older Marshall 1960A cab, but feels a bit more solid. With the help of a mate of mine, I re-wired it to 16 ohms stereo. The left side is a EV 12L 200 watter in series with a C90 Black Shadow. Hi Gear-pagers, i just recently picked up a Marshall 1965B cabinet and was trying to determine the date of manufacture. i can't seem to find anything online regarding cabinet serial numbers that fits. i think the speakers are from May 25th, 1988 (assumming i interpretted the serial number correctly). The serial number on the cabinet is 10087. I looked up a Marshall wiring diagram for the regular 1960a cab, which this really is, and the wiring is correct with the 16 ohm speakers. Marshall 1960a wiring diagram. When running 4 Ohms into the 4 Ohm Mono input of my 1960A, only the two speakers on that side produce any sound. Is this normal? This is still series-parallel wiring, so following this diagram will still work. Always be sure your amp head is set to the total load. So, for example, if you have two 16-ohm cabs for an 8-ohm total, then set your amp to 8 ohms. You could also use two 8-ohm cabinets for a 4-ohm total load. In that case, just set your head to 4 ohms.
